Titus Group has won the National Award for Best Innovation, presented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS). This prestigious Gold Award is made in recognition of the highest levels of innovative achievement and thus helps to promote innovative efforts both within Slovenia and abroad.

Every year, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Slovenia holds a competition for innovations from local companies and offers awards for the best of these. This year, the Titus Group took home the Gold Award for the unique Quickfit TL5 'Full Metal Jacket' dowel, which is typically used in conjunction with the Titus FastFit automated insertion machine.

The combination of the Titus Quickfit dowel and the FastFit machine provides an efficient and cost-effective solution that gives high volume furniture manufacturers a significant competitive advantage and makes end-user furniture assembly at home easier, faster and more convenient.

The new, high-performance Quickfit TL5 'Full Metal Jacket' dowels with their steel expansion jackets exhibit exceptional pull resistance and provide optimum strength and performance in most types of wood materials. In addition, they often make it unnecessary to use additional wooden dowels to strengthen connections.
The unique design of TL5 dowels allows them to be factory pre-inserted into furniture panels, which significantly facilitates and accelerates the assembly of furniture at home.

For fast convenient pre-insertion, Titus Technologies has developed the FastFit machine. This reduces insertion time in the factory by 85 percent compared with conventional methods, while also enhancing the quality of the finished product and virtually eliminating the risk of errors.

The GZS National Award for Best Innovation is the highest recognition of innovative achievement for Slovenian companies.
